By the way, their two wick (used to have three wicks) 22 oz. jar burns for 110-130 hours for a long lasting source of luxurious fragrance.

One of my new favorite travel goodies is the tin candle.  If you get a strong scented one, you can transform your hotel room into a mini paradise away from home.

If you’re traveling during the holidays, you can burn Christmas scents like pine and cinnamon to create a festive yet hom-y feel.

Burn fresh, tropical scents to transform a drab hotel room into a invigorating environment.  Any of your favorite scents can help enhance your stay.  Just be sure to be safe and refrain from burning them if it is against the hotel rules.

White Barn candles are sold at many Bath & Body Works stores and their candles are strong scented and come in a variety of fragrances.  They have had favorite scents like Blueberry Muffin, Fig, Vanilla Woods, Warm Apple Pie, Spice, Cookie, Peppermint, Tree, and Winterberry, but have also offered up unusual fragrances like their Buttered Mashed Potatoes candle!

White Barn is by Limited Brands, a company which offers several quality fragrance products by brands including Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret, and C.O. Bigelow among others.

Unfortunately, White Barn candles are not as readily available as they used to be, so you may not find them in every Bath & Body Works store anymore.  However, Bath & Body Works still offers a host of strong scented quality candles, including other candles made by Limited Brands - so your quest for great candles won’t be wasted when you make a trip there!

India Hicks first came on my radar when I started watching “Top Design” on Bravo last year. While her show hosting skills may be lacking, the woman certainly has a boatload of beauty and style.

So it only makes sense that when she teamed up with Crabtree & Evelyn, the result would be to die for.

The India Hicks Island Night Scented Candle (pictured above) is poured into indigo glass and wrapped in a bracelet of silvery coral and features the fragrant essence of a moonlit tropical garden. Color Changing Candle.net makes color changing candles either with a wick (that burn) or without (they can be turned “on” and “off”) that are LED (light emitting diode) battery operated. They also offer a patented process that can print any photo, picture or image in full color on a candle. Their color changing candles with full color photos printed on them are being used in the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.

The color changing candles contain LED chips embedded at the base of each candle. When the wick is lit, an optical sensor inside the candle relays a signal to the chip which in turn produces unique color changes within the candle every few seconds until the flame is blown out. Some candles have no wick, and continue to change color without ever burning or being used. Both types have seven color changes, plus all the shades in between.
