Years ago, I was invited to a candle party. I wasn’t sure what to expect, I mean candles were candles, weren’t they? Much to my surprise, my understanding of candles opened up. No longer were candles just something to be purchased wherever but something that deserved a bit more thought.
Surprisingly for me, there was dozens of things about candles that I had no idea even existed. I didn’t know that you should always use a candle snuffer to help maintain the wick. I had no idea how to keep my candles looking nice or even how to get the longest life out of them.
